WE MAKE MELBOURNE’S BEST BAGELS
We start off with high protein Victorian flour, milled by our friends at Laucke Flour, and lovingly roll each bagel. We use a minimal amount of yeast, and give the bagels plenty of time for a cold, long rise, to build heaps of flavour. The bagels are then kettle boiled in the traditional way, topped with seeds and baked fresh every day. Finally, we send them out to you!
EACH OF OUR BAGELS IS BOILED AND BAKED USING THE TRADITIONAL METHOD. THEY ARE MADE FROM THE BEST LOCAL INGREDIENTS. WE USE TRADITION AS A GUIDE, BUT ARE NOT BOUND BY IT. EXPECT GREAT BAGELS WITH SOME NEW TWISTS...
Our bagels are boiled and baked using traditional methods and are made from the best local ingredients.
In our cafes, we are just as proud of what we put in the bagels as we are of the bagels themselves. We whip and flavour our cream cheese in-house, loading it up with the finest produce Victoria has to offer; Butter and milk are from St David’s Dairy in Fitzroy, peanut butter from Short Stop in Melbourne, Jam from Batchmade in Sorrento. Our meat comes from Uncle’s Small goods in Dandenong and our smoked salmon is from Melbourne Pantry in Keysbourough.
